Christine G. Lockwood, 61, of Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, January 17, 2015, in Andover, MN.

Christine Genevieve Berg was born on July 24, 1953 in Moorhead, MN, to Donald and Dolores Boule Berg. She grew up in Moorhead and attended St. Francis de Sales Catholic School. On February 10, 1981 Christine married Marvin Lockwood. Christine worked as a nurse’s aide at Villa Maria in Fargo and Buffalo Lake Nursing Home in Buffalo Lake, MN. She then started working in housekeeping at Red River Lodge in Fargo, ND, and was promoted to manager, a position she held for the past 13 years. Christine enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with her children and grandchildren whom she adored.

Christine is survived by her husband, Marvin, Moorhead, MN; daughter, Kimberly Rory Shaffer, Andover, MN; son, Shane Lockwood, Fargo, ND; four sisters, Andrea Berg, Vanessa Matthew England, Lisa Kevin Borseth and Lea Henkel; two brothers, Steve Karen Berg and Tony Kathy Berg; five grandchildren, Hunter, Kendyl, Alyssa, Breanna and Ashton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Dolores Berg; two brothers, Kevin and Blaine Berg; and two nephews, Brandon England and Ward Berg.

Visitation: Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Funeral: Friday, Jan. 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN.

Interment: St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN.
