Christopher L. Laduke

March 3, 1996 — September 2, 2012

Christopher Lee LaDuke passed away Sunday, September 2, 2012 at his home in rural Glyndon. Chris was born March 3, 1996 to David LaDuke and Lorrie Landis LuDuke.Chris loved life and was a friend to everyone. Since his passing, many friends have commented that they considered him their "best friend". He was always kind, upbeat and fun to be around. He was truly a Minnesota boy, and loved spending time with his friends. He enjoyed being out in the wilderness and was an avid paintballer who loved "painting" his buddies. He also loved to take long bike rides and was a worthy opponent when he played PS3 games. He loved to hunt and be outdoors. Chris looked forward to dances and youth conferences and other Church activities. Chris served faithfully in various Church assignments and callings. As an active Boy Scout, he completed every requirement for Eagle rank and was working on his service project. He was serving as Troop 220's senior patrol leader. His leadership style was quiet, yet effective. He was employed at Jiffy Lube in Fargo, enjoyed his job and was a valued employee.Surviving Chris are his parents, paternal grandparents, Lee and Rosetta LaDuke of rural Glyndon; siblings, Becky Troy Smith of Moorhead, Jared Becca LaDuke, Nick LaDuke, and Victoria LaDuke, all of rural Glyndon and Alex LaDuke serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sacramento, California. He is also survived two nieces, Abby and Beth LaDuke, and a nephew, Kallin Smith as well as numerous friends. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Roger and Gloria Landis.Chris will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
