Clara E. Kiefert

Clara E. Kiefert, 93, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Bethany on 42nd, Fargo, ND. Clara was born in Fargo on June 18, 1931. The daughter of John and Winnefred Gallagher, she grew up in Fargo. On September 23, 1955, Clara married Elroy “Bob” Kiefert. Together they made their home in Fargo. She worked at NDSU in her early years before working with Bob at Kiefert Realty until retirement. Over the years, Clara was a very active member of Plymouth Congregational Church and enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. She loved spending time with family, hosting holiday gatherings and keeping up with grandkids and their activities. She will be dearly missed.

Clara is survived by her daughter, Kim Hanson; granddaughters, Trish (Vinny) Floyd, Tiffany (Scott) English; grandchildren, Alex, Adley, Xavier, Griffin and Paisley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy, and son-in-law, John Ray Hanson.

Visitation will be Monday, November 18, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
