Cory L. Skistad

Cory Lee Skistad, AKA Big Daddy, 46 from West Fargo, ND passed away on 1/2/24.

Cory was born on 3/24/77 and was the pride and joy of his parents, Lee and Charlotte (Hovi) Skistad. Cory graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1995. He married the love of his life, Jessica Pederson on 7/21/06. They welcomed their beloved son, Derek Miller, into their family on 5/24/19.

From his days as a bouncer to his days driving truck for Waste Management, Cory made friends everywhere he went. He will always be remembered for his quick wit, his ability to make you laugh and for giving his all, including the shirt off his back, to help others.

His vast knowledge, as well as his love of things like motorcycles, knives, coconut monkeys, flamingos and socks always made him fun and interesting to be around.

He will forever be missed by all who had the pleasure to meet him.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Skistad; son, Derek (Wayne Skistad) Miller; his parents, Lee and Charlotte Skistad; and sister, KaSandra Skistad
