Dale A. Greterman

Dale Allan Greterman was born on July 15, 1949, at St. Johns hospital in Fargo, ND to Howard Pete and Lois Turner Greterman and passed away in peace the morning of August 8th 2014.

Dale was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, confidant and sports enthusiast. He was a kind and simple man who lived in the moment. He didn’t care about others opinions & focused on the family & friends that were close to him. He took pride in his home and his yard was always the nicest on the block. Family was especially important to Dale. He was married for 42 years to the love of his life, Mary Flewell Greterman, and the love they had for each other was admirable. They enjoyed sharing every moment together, whether it was cheering on the Bison or taking a spin on the dance floor. Dale’s legacy will be carried on by his two sons Aaron Sarah and Garrett, grandson Drake and grandchild due in September, who will all continue to carry on the Greterman traditions. He will be missed by many, but we know he will watch over those he loved & cared about in heaven.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, sons, Aaron Sarah and Garrett, mother, Lois Greterman, sister, Susan Aubrey Hall, grandson Drake and many nephews and nieces.

There will be a memorial gathering on Monday, August 18, 2014, from 5:00 P.M until 7:00 P.M., with a celebration of Dale’s life at 7:00 P.M., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead.
The memorial service will be on Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at 11:00 A.M., in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND.
