Daniel G. Crawford

Daniel G. Crawford, age 65, of Dilworth, MN, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in his home. Daniel Gene Crawford was born on June 26, 1945 in Grafton, ND. He grew up and attended school in Park River, ND, Redland Camp, FL and Dilworth, MN, graduating from Dilworth High School in 1964. He then attended Moorhead Technical College for a year, receiving a degree in carpentry. Dan was an avid football player and was involved with Golden Gloves Boxing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, tinkering with cars, finding good deals, farming, racing hobby stockcars and his career in auto mechanics. Dan didn't have much, but was willing to give what he did have to those in need. He had a big heart and was a dedicated husband, father and friend. He is survived by his wife, Kari Crawford of Dilworth, MN; children, David of Phoenix, AZ , Debbie of TX, Charles Michelle of Moorhead, MN, Jonathan Melissa of West Fargo, ND, Stacy Erik Holmberg of West Fargo, ND, Amie Webber of West Fargo, ND, and Nichole Todd Busch of CA; brothers, Lorren Jean of Detroit Lakes, MN, James Meg of Atlanta, GA and Richard Diane of St. Paul, MN; sisters, Katherine Grover of Moorhead, MN, Bobbie Bob Krag of Moorhead, MN, Rebecca Sherwood Knick of Becker, MN and Vicky Steve Sunde of Moorhead, MN; step-children, Talon Anthony Goodwin Parisien, Anthony Christian Anderson and Sydney Jean Jacobsen; twenty five grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Russell Crawford.In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
