Daniel M. Heil

Daniel M. Heil, 43, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012, in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Dan was born January 31, 1969, in Two Harbors, MN, to Roger and Claudette Prestby Heil. He grew up in Duluth and Superior before moving to Moorhead in 1981. Dan enjoyed the years he spent with CCRI and all the friends and connections he made. He also enjoyed horses, unicorns, airplanes and traveling. He especially cherished the trip he took to Juneau, AK, to visit his sister. Dan always seemed to be full of life and could put a smile on your face. He will be missed.

Dan is survived by his brothers, David Terri Heil of Fargo, ND, Mike Heil of Dilworth, MN; sister, Stephanie James Masse of Juneau, AK; step-father, Bob Bodin of Moorhead, MN; step-brothers, Rob Jerrie Bodin of Medina, ND, William Rachael Bodin of Comstock, MN; and nieces and nephews, Matt, Josh, James, Justin, Jenna and Kristina.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Claudette.

Memorial Service: Thursday, January 3, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Memorial Gathering: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment: Mount Roberts, Juneau, AK.
