Darryl K. "Wally" Gader, age 60, of Twin Valley, MN, died Monday, March 22, 2010, in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Fargo, ND.Darryl was born on November 20, 1949, in Carrington, ND to Clamats "Duke" and Donna Myers Gader. He grew up and attended school in Glenfield, graduating from Glenfield Sutton High School in 1967. Darryl enlisted in the United States Army in 1971. During his time in the Army, he served overseas in Germany. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1972. He attended NDSU and Valley City State College for a short time. In 1976, Darryl began managing the Zodiac lounge in Moorhead until 1978. At that time, Darryl began working for Old Dominion Insurance Company for a couple of years. In 1982, Darryl took a stock broker position with Piper Jaffrey in Fargo and later began working in the construction industry until his retirement. Darryl lived on a farm near Fosston and Bagley, MN and most recently a home in Twin Valley. Darryl enjoyed watching Twins baseball, monitoring the price of silver, playing poker and enjoying a Grain Belt. He is survived by his sister, Cindy Guy Galliger of Fargo, ND; daughter, Jessica Taylor Corman of Missoula, MT; nephew, Grant Andrea Galliger of Burnsville, MN and niece, Jocelyn Jesse Johnson of Kindred, ND.He was preceded in death by his parents.
