Daryle Dennis Wasfaret, 64, died September 29, 2009, at his home after a long battle with cancer.Daryle was born November 26, 1944 to Gilman and Myrtle Wasfaret in Ada, MN. He grew up, attended school and graduated in Felton, MN. He joined the U.S Air Force and served his duties as an aircraft mechanic during Vietnam at Okinawa and returned home in 1968. In 1970 he married Elizabeth Hodson and they had two sons, Jerome and Joe. In 1972 he attended an apprenticeship for carpentry and built their first home outside of Felton, MN.Daryle drove Semi Truck for Osmundson Hay Co.,Averill, MN from 1970-1979 Pacific Gamble Robinson,Fargo, ND from 1979-1987, Valley Express Fargo, ND from 1987-1988, and Midnite Express, Fargo, ND from 1988 until he retired in 2004 .Daryle loved hunting, fishing, watching Vikings and Twins games, spending time at his lake cabin on Many Point Lake with his many friends, and most of all being with his two grandchildren Mercedes and Tanner. Daryle is survived by his two sons, Jerome Tabatha Wasfaret of Sabin, MN, Joe Wasfaret of Moorhead, MN; his brother, Gene Wasfaret of Moorhead, MN; his sister, Geraldine Dennis Isrow of Fargo, ND; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, infant daughter, and his three sisters, Delores, Diane and Muriel.
