David L. Teschendorf

David L. Teschendorf, 83, passed away on January 2, 2023, in the hospital, surrounded by his family.

David grew up in Fargo, ND. He married Sharon Walvatne and celebrated 65 years together. They raised 5 children, Dawn Beavers (Pete), David (Kari), Dian, and Darcie Ewert (Dan). He worked for Mid-States Distributors, Fargo, ND with his son. He retired to the lakes and enjoyed traveling, driving, playing cards, visiting casinos, going to the movies, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dana Freeport, and his parents, Andrew and Esther Teschendorf.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to David’s preferred charities; Arthritis Foundation, Churches United, Great Plains Food Bank, New Life Center, Pathways, Red River Youth For Christ, or the Salvation Army Fargo/Moorhead.

A memorial service with Livestream will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM with a visitation one hour before the service at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Final resting place will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
