David L. Ward

David L. Ward, 68, Glyndon, MN, died on Thursday, September 22, 2011, in Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.David was born on May 22, 1943, in Fargo, ND, to Lyle and Grace Kyllo Ward. He grew up and attended school in northern Minnesota. David married Bernice Glatzel on April 25, 1964, in Karlstad, MN. They moved to Moorhead and then, in 1969, to Glyndon, where he has lived since. David had worked as a milkman, and at W.W. Wallworks, in Fargo, and at NAPA Auto Parts in Mahnomen and Ada, MN, and then worked as a farmer near Felton. His wife, Bernice, died on July 18, 2008.David had been a member of the Western Minnesota Steam Thresher's Reunion and the Case IH Club. He was a collector of red tractors and Fords.David is survived by his Mother, Grace Ward, Cambridge, MN; son, David Lisa Ward, Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Denise Edward Prestegord, Felton, MN; sister Darlene Wayne Calendar, Cambridge, MN; and four grandchildren.
