David T. Swanson

David T. Swanson, 67, of Moorhead, MN, has gone to be with his savior, Jesus. He grew up in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School before moving to Texas. He worked his entire career for Southwestern and Northwestern Bell telephone companies. He loved working in his yard, talking with anyone he met, and his family. He spent his retirement walking his dog, traveling and visiting family and friends. David also enjoyed visiting at Eventide with his dog, Bailey.

David is survived by his wife, Anne; daughter, Nicole Chris Sims; sons, Shane, Jason, and Robert Swanson; grandchildren, Steffen, David, and Ryan Swanson, Alexa, Andrew and Daniel Sims; as well as sister, Nancy Jo Grant Mattson; and many friends and family who will miss his constant love and support.

He was the son of Oscar “Bud” and Lois Nelson Swanson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a charity of the donor’s choice, or Eventide Senior Living Community.

Visitation: Thursday, November 6, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Funeral: Friday, November 7, at 10:30 a.m., in Bethesda Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.
Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
