Dean C. Whaley

Dean Curtis Whaley, age 76, passed away January 2^nd, 2020.

Dean married the love of his life, Sundra Erickson, on July 7, 1962 in Hawley, MN.

Dean returned to the Hawley area in 1996 after living in the Minneapolis area for 38 years to fulfill his lifelong passion of farming.

Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Myrtle Whaley; and oldest son, Doug; and brother-in-law, Charles Gruhl.

Dean is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sundra; their 2 children, son John (Susie and their sons Johnny, Zach, Blake) and daughter, Liz (Matt) Borstad; brother, Bob (Nancy); sisters Carol (Jr.) Waage and Sharon Gruhl; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 5:30-7 P.M., with a funeral service starting at 7 P.M. at Wright Funeral Home, Hawley.
