Delbert D. Tysdal

Delbert D. Tysdal, 68, of Glyndon, MN, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2013, in Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Delbert was born November 17, 1944, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Bert and Emma Abel Tysdal. He grew up and attended school in Fergus Falls. Following high school, he continued his education at Drake College in Florida where he received his BS in Accounting. On May 22, 1965, he married Darlene Nelson. Together they made their home in Glyndon, MN. Delbert taught at Dakota Business College until 1976, and then started his career in Real Estate and owned rental property.

Delbert enjoyed motorcycle riding with son David, listening to concerts played by son Darin, gardening, restoring radios, antiquing, quilting, running and penmanship.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene; sons, Darin Lynda, and David; close cousins, Wayne and Steven Vallevand; and aunt, Marion Velek.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Emma.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church’s Kitchen Fund.

Visitation: Tuesday, August 20, 2013, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with prayer service at 6:30 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
Funeral: Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., in Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.
