Della E. Olson

Della was born June 9, 1916 in Hawley, Minnesota to Severt and Sophie Omberg Olson. She grew up and attended school in Hawley. She worked thirty-four years at Peterson Brother's Department Store in Hawley, for fifteen years at Burns Motor of Hawley and occasionally at the Garrick Theatre in Hawley. Della enjoyed dancing, playing cards and was an avid reader. She was a member of Solem Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Guild and had been an active member of the Royal Neighbors of America.She is survived by a niece, Mary Ann Dennis Buckley, Grand Rapids, MN, and her children Allison Buckley, Adam Kelly Buckley, and their daughter, Emmerson; and many other relatives; and special friend, Becky Heinonen and family.
