Delores R. Salzwedel

Delores Salzwedel, 74, Fargo, ND, died on Friday, March 24, 2006, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.Delores R. Fraedrich was born on March 18, 1932, on the Freitag farm, near Enderlin, ND, to Theodore and Emma Freitag Fraedrich. She grew up and attended school there, graduating from Enderlin High School in 1951. Delores married Donald Salzwedel on May 29, 1955, in Enderlin, ND, and they made their home in Fargo, ND. She worked in food service at North Dakota State University. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and attending their events. Her hobbies included knitting and jetskiing. Her husband Donald died on February 8, 2001.Delores is survived by three daughters, Darlene Chuck Gulsvig, Moorhead, MN, Denise Denis Bartholomay, Sheldon, ND, and Debra Dave Lontz, Pelican Rapids, MN; one brother, Theodore Jackie Fraedrich, Coon Rapids, MN; two sisters, Marthanna James Gilbert, Enderlin, ND, and Doreen Shinn, Fargo, ND; ten grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Jaclyn and Maggie Gulsvig, Logan, Staci, Jake, Jack and April Bartholomay, Nick and Grant Lontz. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a grandson, Trevor John Bartholomay, two brothers, Leo and Conrad Fraedrich and two sisters, Irene Poff and Erma Waldhelm.
