Deloris “Sadie” Renshaw

Deloris Renshaw, age 79, of Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012, in Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND.Deloris Sadie Ione Sundeen was born August 25, 1933, at Mayville, ND. She was the daughter of Alice Mastrud and John Sundeen. They moved to Hatton, ND, where she grew up and graduated from High School. In 1951, she moved with her family to Fargo, ND. She then attended school at Kansas City, MO, and worked in Minneapolis for an insurance company then returned to Fargo, ND, where she worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in the Engineering department as a Billing Clerk. She married Dennis Renshaw on December 5, 1953, while he was serving in the United States Army. They made their home in Colorado Springs, CO. In 1955, they moved to Moorhead, where she returned back to work at the telephone company. They lived in Moorhead for years, raising their family and enjoying their summers at their cottage on Rush Lake near Perham. They moved to Detroit Lakes in 1992. Dennis passed away in 2002. She was a Hospice volunteer for nine years. Her happy disposition brought many smiles to people. She will be missed by her family and her many friends. She is survived by two sons, Bruce Val Renshaw of Fargo, ND and Craig Barb Renshaw of Hanover, MN; one daughter, Sheri John Jones of Fargo, ND; five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, son, Cory, her parents and two brothers, Allen and Cecil. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
