Dennis E. Fandrich

Dennis E. Fandrich, 71 of Moorhead, MN passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2025, in his home.

Dennis Edward Fandrich was born October 1, 1953, in Carrington, ND to Edward and Margaret (Hogan) Fandrich. He grew up in Carrington and graduated from Carrington High School. 

Following graduation, Dennis enlisted in the US Air Force and was stationed in Minot, ND. On May 15, 1982, while stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in California, Dennis married Ann Edwards. He was transferred between the US and England before retiring from Beale Air Force Base in California in 1996. Dennis and Ann then moved to Moorhead, MN to be closer to family.

Dennis then went to work for Rick Borgan Farms in Perley, MN where he helped as a mechanic and took on various other projects before reducing his hours to part-time in 2016. 

Dennis loved working with his hands and was always interested in how things ran. He enjoyed woodworking and building model trains and ships. He purchased a model kit of the Delta Queen while on vacation in Australia and built it to operate with a steam boiler system. There was always work to be done on the Delta Queen.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Ann; children, Lynn (Nick) Ingegneri, and Tyler Fandrich; grandchildren, Sylvia, Natalie, and Jillian Ingegneri; sisters, Janet Enders, and Gail Lange; and brother, Cletus Fandrich. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James and Marvin Fandrich; and sister, Fay Fandrich. 

A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at a later date.
