Dennis L. Lecy

Dennis L. Lecy, 63, of Laporte, MN passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Dennis Lee Lecy was born in Granite Falls, MN, on April 29, 1955 to Harry and Marjorie (Radtke) Lecy.  The family moved to Hoffman, MN, in 1956 then to Akeley, MN in 1964 where Dennis attended school.

On February 6, 1978 Dennis married Davonna Johnson in Sisseton, SD, and together they raised two children, Deneka and Bodine.

Dennis had numerous jobs throughout his life, but spent the last 20 years as a superintendent for I.C.S. in Grand Forks, ND.

In his free time, Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved to mow the lawn and could often be found feeding the area deer.  We find comfort in knowing he’s now walking with the Lord.

Dennis is survived by his wife; children, Deneka Lecy, Grand Forks, ND and Bodine Lecy, Laporte, MN; grandchildren, Destiny, Tyrel, Cassandra, Royce and Kyrie; and father, Harry Lecy, Akeley, MN.

He was preceded in death by two mothers, Marjorie Lecy and Kathy Tatro-Lecy.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Free Evangelical Church, Walker, MN.
