Diane H. Syverson

Diane H. Syverson, 47, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, June 15, 2015, in her home at Fraser 7, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Diane Holly Syverson was born on November 14, 1967, in Devils Lake, ND, to Rueben and Lenora Stute Syverson. She was baptized in 1967 in Warwick Lutheran Church, and later confirmed there in 1985.
Diane grew up in Warwick, ND, where she graduated from kindergarten in 1974. She then attended special education classes at Minnie H in Devils Lake. Diane graduated in 1987. While attending school in Devils Lake, Diane was cared for by Leland and Eldoris Rodlin. In 1999, Diane moved to Fargo, where she lived at Fraser Homes. She enjoyed her work at the Vocational Training Center for many years.

Diane was very involved in the Special Olympics, participating in many sports. She loved coloring, stuffed animals, magazines and listening to music. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as her friends and staff at Fraser.

Diane’s family is very grateful for the exceptional care and love Diane received from the staff at Fraser 7 and Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Diane is survived by her siblings, Dwight Deanna Syverson, Minot, ND, Lyndon Peggy Syverson, Fargo, ND, LaVon Jerry Olson, Gary, MN, Kevin Jean Syverson, Fargo, ND, and Cindy Verne Lee, Devils Lake, ND; special aunt, Colleen Smith, Winfield, KS; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and infant sister, Lynnette.

Visitation: Thursday, June 18, 2015, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Funeral: Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Interment: Friday, June 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Bethlehem Cemetery, McHenry, ND.
