Diane M Nelson

Diane Marie Nelson 65, of Fargo died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Elim Care Center in Fargo.
She was born to Hugh and Alice Jorgenson Nelson in Fargo on April 1, 1948. She attended and graduated from Drayton High School in Drayton, ND. Diane was a graduate from the sisters of St. Joseph’s Nursing School in Grand Forks. She went on a mission trip to Guatemala assisting in Midwifery. Later she attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in Nurse Midwifery. Diane went to LAC/USC Women’s Hospital in Los Angeles and worked in Midwifery. She moved back to Fargo to take care of her mother Alice. Being a caregiver was very important to Diane.
Survivors include her brother, Dwayne Mary Kay Percy Nelson of Topsham, ME.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial gathering will be Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 11AM to 1PM at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN.
Interment will be at the Pioneer Cemetery in Christine, ND.
