Diane M. Osmundson

Diane Osmundson, 76, Moorhead, MN, died on Sunday, March 26, 2006, in her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.Diane Marie Wasfaret was born on August 8, 1929, in Twin Valley, MN, to Gilman and Myrtle Dalby Wasfaret. She grew up and attended school in Felton, MN, and then attended Interstate Business College in Fargo, ND. She worked in Fargo prior to her marriage to Gilbert Osmundson on August 8, 1952, in Concordia Lutheran Church near Glyndon, MN. They made their home in Moorhead. She and Gilbert lived in Kentucky and Austria while he served in the U.S. Army. Diane enjoyed many years at Many Point Lake, and especially liked fishing and waterskiing. She had been a member of the Elkettes in Fargo.Diane is survived by her husband, Gilbert, Moorhead; one son, Mark Julie, Moorhead; two brothers, Gene Wasfaret, Moorhead, and Darryle Orma Wasfaret, Crossville, TN; one sister, Geraldine Denis Isrow, Fargo, ND; one granddaughter, Olivia Osmundson; a special sister-in-law, Beth. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Muriel and Delores; and three infant children.
