Diane R. Poehls, 58, of Fargo, ND, died unexpectedly after a sudden illness on Monday, August 30, 2011, in the University of Minnesota Fairview Medical Center, Minneapolis,MN. Diane Rosenfeldt was born January 31, 1953 in Moorhead, MN to Loren and Ardis Dickelman Rosenfeldt. She grew up in Sabin, MN and attended Moorhead High School, graduating in 1971. She attended and received her Registered Nursing degree from St. Lukes School of Nursing in 1977. On June 24, 1978, she married Donald Poehls in Sabin, they have two children. Diane worked in the nursing field for over 30 years, in the areas of dialysis, pediatric ICU and quality care. Her last seven years she worked for Cerner Corporation in the area of electronic medical records, serving in the capacities of solutions strategist and solutions architect. She will be remembered for the love she showed to her family and friends and her passion of making all sorts of crafts, designing Ukrainian Eggs, making quilts and afghans for her children and grandchildren, Hardunger, tatting and doll clothes. She loved camping with her family and friends, eventually becoming a full-time resident at Forest Hills RV Resort; golfing and enjoying fun times with her Forest Hills neighbors. She is survived by her husband, Donald Poehls, Fargo, ND; one daughter, Jennifer Jean Paul Mansour, Chicago, IL; one son, Derek Jenny Poehls, Fargo, ND; her mother, Ardis Rosenfeldt; two brothers, David Mary Rosenfeldt, Sabin, MN, Scott LaRae Rosenfeldt, Moorhead, MN; two sisters, Deborah Rosenfeldt, Rex, GA, Lisa Rosenfeldt, Fargo, ND and two granddaughters,Grace and Maren Mansour. Diane had a strong belief in the Lord and today will be sharing space in Heaven with her father Loren, who preceded her in death. She will be missed dearly by her family and numerous friends near and far.
