Donald F. Rehder

Donald F. Rehder, 79, Glyndon, MN, died on Saturday, September 10, 2005, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.Donald F. Rehder was born on August 14, 1926, in Fargo, ND. He grew up and attended rural school north of Glyndon, MN. Don married Joyce Osmundson on December 15, 1945, in Moorhead, MN. They made their home in Averill, where, come this December, they would have spent 60 years together. Donald worked hauling hay for many years. In 1961 he went to work for the Clay County Highway Department as an equipment operator, retiring on December 31, 1989.Donald is survived by his wife, Joyce, Glyndon, MN; a daughter, Darlene Alm, Hawley, MN; two sons, Terry Bobbi Rehder, Lake Park, MN, and Ken Bonnie Rehder, Moorhead, MN; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Leonard Caroline Rehder, Chandler, AZ; three sisters, Esther Pfau, Moorhead, MN, Joyce Verl Griffin, Brooklyn Center, MN, and Charlotte Robert Stricker, Brooklyn Park, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, brother Edgar, and infant son, Gary.
