Donald O. Anderson

Donald O. Anderson, 66, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, August 31, 2014 in his home in Fargo, ND.

Donald Orel Anderson was born on June 16, 1948, in Moorhead, MN, to Orel and Ethel Tompt Anderson. He grew up in Moorhead, where he graduated from Moorhead High School. Don attended NDSU, where he graduated with a degree in Agriculture. On May 28, 1983, he married Sandra Rossow Prins in Fargo, ND. Don worked for many years on the Brakke Farm until his retirement. He loved watching sports including the NDSU Bison, Minnesota Vikings and Twins. He was a devoted Bison sports fan.

Don is survived by his wife, Sandy Anderson, Fargo, ND; daughter, Polly Prins Brad Bode, Fargo, ND; two grandsons, Grant and Chase Bode; sister-in-law, Shirley Anderson, Fargo; two brothers, Wally Mary Anderson, Billings, MT and Robert Anderson, Park Rapids, MN; sister-in-law, Dorothy Anderson, Belgrade, MN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ken Anderson, and grandmother, Leah Tompt.
A memorial gathering will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
