Donald T. Knott

Donald was born October 21, 1926, in Bristol, SD, to Truman C. and Nellie Hanson Knott. He spent his early years in Bristol, moving to New Rockford, ND, during high school. Following high school he continued his education at North Dakota State University during which time he met and married Ardella Fossum. Donald spent his career with Western Electric and the Bell System, currently operated by Lucent Technologies. Over the years the family lived in various places before Donald and his wife, Ardella, settled in Rockwall, TX.Donald is survived by his children, Stephen Knott & wife Susan of Rockwall, TX, Jean Hewitt & husband John of Bixby, OK, Gary Knott of Rossville, TN, Robert Knott & wife Carol of Topeka, KS, and Roger Knott of Woodridge, IL; grandchildren: Ryan Louise, Shelley, Katherine Matthew Auld, Rebekah Hewitt, Jessica Matt Young, Aaron, Sarah, Aubrene Ralph Fiore and Amber TJ Hardy; great grandchildren: Chandler, Colton, Austin and Matthew, and three more on the way; sister, Gloria Bush of Fargo, ND; and brother-in-law, Bob Rosatti of Billings, MT.He was preceded in death by his wife, Ardella; daughter-in-law, Joyce; his parents; sister, Phyllis Rosatti; and brothers-in-law, Richard Bush and George Gorman.
