Donna D. Piehl

Donna D. Kahl Wahl, Piehl, 85, of Hawley, MN, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, in Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN.
Donna Dean Kahl was born on October 16, 1930, to Herbert and Mary Heintz Kahl in Cleveland, ND. She grew up in Cleveland, ND, where she graduated from high school. On October 7, 1950, Donna married Roy Wahl in Jamestown, ND. They later moved to Fargo, ND and eventually to Moorhead, MN. Donna stayed home and raised their seven children. She enjoyed reading, crafts and baking. Donna was also a devoted animal lover, always caring for many pets.
Donna is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen Otte, Deborah Stephen Ekre and Michelle Wahl; four sons, Branden, David, Richard and Gregory Wahl; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carmen Nelson.
Memorial Service: Friday, February 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Bottolfson Chapel at Eventide Senior Living, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
