Doris I. Kommer

Doris Kommer, 83, Moorhead, MN. passed away Sunday, October 24, 2004 in the Palliative Care Unit at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND, under hospice care.Doris Irene Rice was born September 23, 1921 in Fargo, ND to Almer and Lena Rice. Doris attended country school and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1939. She married Lloyd Cob Kommer September 2, 1941 in Moorhead, MN. They lived in Dilworth MN for 39 years. Lloyd passed away November 21, 1980. Doris moved to Moorhead in 1982. Doris worked at the Dilworth Post Office for 16 years and 6 years at Montgomery Ward in Moorhead, MN. Doris is survived by her daughter, Laurine Kommer, Detroit Lakes, MN; brother-in-law Earl Kommer, Lake Park, MN; seven nieces and nephews, Duane Kuhel, Keith Kuehl, Russell Kommer, Cindy Kommer, Bradley Kommer, Toby Kommer and Lisa Kommer.
