Doris L. Anderson

Doris LaVerne Doran Anderson, 86, Moorhead, MN, died on Wednesday, August 06, 2008, in Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.Doris was born on September 26, 1921, in Hawley, MN, to John and Alma Doran. She attended rural school near Hawley. She was united in marriage to Milner Clifford Anderson on June 12, 1940 in Hawley. Following their marriage, they moved to California for a year. They returned to Hawley where they made their home until 1994 when they moved to Moorhead, MN. She moved to Golden Living Assisted Living in 2007 and in July of 2008 moved to Golden Living Nursing Home where she passed away.Doris is survived by two daughters, Janice Larry Paulson, Moorhead, and Joyce Marvin Langerud, Fargo, ND; five grandchildren, Sheri Okland, Susan Langerud, Kristi Mingus, Todd Paulson, Debbi Lopez; five great-grandchildren, Andrew Okland, Megan Okland, Barrett Paulson, Christopher Mingus, Ellie Lopez; and one great-grandchild due in January. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milner; great-granddaughter, Melissa Marlene; one brother Raymond; three sisters, Arlit, Pearl and Florence; and her parents.
