Dorothy A. Snare

Dorothy A. Snare, age 80, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, November 28, 2011, in her home in Fargo, ND.Dorothy Anne Jacobson was born on August 31, 1931 to Albert and Gertrude Bagus Jacobson in Hallock, MN. She grew up and attended school in Hallock. Dorothy married Kenneth Snare in 1949. Together they moved to Washington where they lived for a year before returning to Hallock. While in Hallock, she worked at Gordon's Market for many years. Dorothy relocated to Fargo after she and Kenneth separated, where she has lived since. While in Fargo, she worked at Ember's Restaurant in Fargo until her retirement in 1999. Dorothy was an avid Minnesota Twins fan. Blessed be the memory of Dorothy, she will be missed dearly by her family and friends.Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Doug, Kim of Moorhead, MN, Ken Michele of Rosemount, MN and Greg Lynette of Hallock, MN; nine grandchildren, Jenny, Brandi, TanyaLee, Raymond, Steffen, Trevor, Rachel, Karmon and Mitchell; several great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Jacobson of Nine Mile Falls, WA and Mae Jacobson of Hallock, MN as well as several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Vernon, Clifford, Raymond, Melvin and Roy; one sister, Doris; and two grandchildren, Brandon and Matthew.
