Dorothy A. Waite

Dorothy A. Waite, 77, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006, in her home, Fargo, ND.Dorothy Ann Comstock was born on April 5, 1928 to Clark M. and Mathilda Kozek Comstock in Wahpeton, ND. She grew up and attended school, graduating from Wahpeton High School. She then moved up to Fargo where she attended St. John's Nursing School. Once she finished at St. John's she moved back to Breckenridge and started work at St. Francis Hospital. She met her husband to be, Robert, when he returned from the war. They were married in 1946. In 1964 the family moved to Moorhead and she started working at Dakota Hospital. Dorothy worked at Dakota Hospital until her retirement. She spent her first years after retirement wintering in Florida. After they realized Florida wasn't their place to retire, she and her husband, Bob, sold their place and moved to Pelican Lake. Together they lived there until Bob passed away. She always enjoyed her summers at the lake. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Ann William LeBeau; son, Rush Cynthia Waite; four grandchildren, Marcus and Shannan LeBeau & Isabel and Sadie Waite.She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert.
