Dorothy W. Fabian

Dorothy W. Fabian, 94, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND.Dorothy W. Fabian was the oldest of eight children. She was born to Richard and Martha Gerber Fabian on April 21, 1911, in Everest, ND. She was confirmed on June 7, 1925 at Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Casselton, ND. In 1926 the family moved from ND to a farm near Norcross, MN. Later they moved to a farm near Herman, MN. Dorothy left home in 1940 to work in a defense plant in Detroit, MI. She attended Beauty School in the evenings. Later Dorothy moved to Chicago, IL, and opened her own beauty shop. In 1970 she moved back to Fargo to be near her family.Dorothy was preceded in death by two sisters, Elnora Ed DeVries and Leona Louis Nordby; four brothers, Rudolph Sylvia Fabian, Leonard Isabelle Fabian, Raymond Margaret Fabian, and Erwin Dorothy Fabian.Dorothy is mourned by one brother, William Charlotte Fabian; and many nieces and nephews.
