Dwight A. Diercks

Dwight Arthur Diercks, 52, Moorhead, MN, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2011, in his home of natural causes.Dwight, son of Arthur R. and Mary Ellen George Diercks was born October 26, 1958 in Fargo, ND. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead. He graduated from Moorhead High School and Concordia College. Dwight married Elizabeth Olsgaard at Trinity Lutheran Church. He was employed by Anheuser Busch for over thirty years.Dwight was a humble man who quietly gave of himself. His joys in life were music, spending time in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana, hunting in the woods, fishing, and sunsets on the waters of Round Lake in Minnesota teaching family the art of fishing. He continued to pursue his interest in learning, lively discussion, traveling and time with family and friends.He is survived by his wife Elizabeth; parents; sisters, Carolyn Kevin Diercks Bergschneider, Denver, CO, and Maren Diercks Paul Eppard, Englewood, CO; nieces and nephew Berit, Mikaela and Tate Eppard, Ian and Avery Bergschneider; Elizabeth's children Joseph and Kathryn, aunt Jean Price, family and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Arthur P. and Christine Diercks and Victor and Margaret George. Memorials may be given to the Lost and Found Ministry.
