Dylan Marie Feller, infant daughter of Brittany Feller, passed away peacefully on October 13th, 2018 in her mother’s arms, surrounded by loved ones, after just 6 short, but courageous weeks. Dylan was born at 3:01 in the afternoon on August 31, 2018 and passed away at 12:25 in the afternoon on October 13, 2018. Dylan touched so many lives in her short time, and continues to touch the lives of others who hear her story and hear of her journey.
Dylan loved holding momma’s fingers, snuggling her stuffed elephant, listening to music, warm blankets around her head (if she didn’t have one she’d let you know how mad she was). Dylan loved bedtime stories, and loved when her big cousin, Hudson would sing her bedtime songs. She loved her head and nose being rubbed until she fell asleep. Dylan disliked people touching her feet and disliked having too many lights on at once. She would get very sassy if her hands were covered and she couldn’t play with her ears.
Born 6 weeks early, Dylan was still able to hold fingers tight enough to make sure nobody let go, and hold all of her favorite toys and stuffed animals. Dylan had the most adorable head of blonde hair, the prettiest blue eyes, and the longest fingers and toes.
Dylan was given a 10% chance of making it to delivery, and was the hospitals second case to make it to birth. Her entire journey was unknown, and it was a crazy journey filled with ups and downs, but Dylan fought every step of the way and ended every night happy. Though we will never understand why things like this happen, Dylan has brought our family closer together and helped us remember the importance of time. The love everyone has for Dylan will only grow and continue to bring us closer together. She will live on through pictures, stories, and all the memories made.
Dylan is survived by her mother Brittany, grandpa Cory, godmother/aunt Ashley, uncle/godfather Brad, 3 cousins, Hudson, Bennett, and Lucas, and uncle Brady. Dylan joins her great grandmother Sandy in heaven.
Dylan is, and will continue to be, missed by those who love her.
“I love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living my baby you’ll be.”
