Earl Yeager

Earl Yeager, 73, of Felton, MN, died Sunday, September 10, 2017, at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Earl was born April 3, 1944, in Moorhead, MN, to Elton R. and Lucille Smith Yeager. He grew up on the family farm near Felton. After graduating from high school, Earl served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he returned home in 1967. For many years, Earl drove truck for Ditmer Trucking and later Hilde Tucking. He took pride in his work and enjoyed staying busy. When he had time, he also enjoyed helping on the farm and gardening. He spent many hours gardening, canning and cooking. He also loved spending time with his many nieces, nephews and their families. He will be greatly missed.

Earl is survived by his brothers-in-law, Duane Rafteseth and Jerry Kurpius; sisters-in-law, Eva Yeager, Diane Yeager, Connie Yeager and Joanne Yeager. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gene, LeRoy, Keith, Irvin and Kenneth; sisters, Doris Kurpius and Maxine Rafteseth.

Visitation: Wednesday, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM, followed by a prayer service at 7 PM, in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Felton, MN.
Funeral: Thursday, at 11:00 AM, in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Felton, MN.
Interment: Felton Cemetery
