Edith Lorraine Logue, 95, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at Eventide on 8th, Moorhead, MN.
Edith was born on May 31, 1929, to Albert and Alma (McGregor) Christensen, in Fairdale, ND. She moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1945. She met C. Gene Logue and they were united in marriage on June 14, 1948. She owned and operated a ceramic shop where she sold ceramics and taught ceramic classes. She taught 160 students a week for 30 years and 120 students a week for 10 years. After selling her shop, she worked in the Moorhead School kitchens for over 10 years until her retirement. She resided in her Moorhead home for the rest of her life.
Working with ceramics was Edith’s main hobby throughout her life, she also liked to paint from time to time. She loved to have fun with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was most important to her.
Edith is survived by her children, Donald (Jane) Logue and Cheryal (Jim) Welle; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Arlie, Ella, Allan “Snorky”, and Berniel; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gene; son, Robert Logue; parents, Albert and Alma; siblings, Fern, Albert "Junior", Walter, June, Agnes, Barbara, Eugene “Ole”, and her infant sibling.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. A livestream of the service will be available below. Final resting place will be at Moorhead Memorial Gardens, Moorhead, MN.
