Edna W. Torkelson

Edna W. Torkelson, 86, of Fargo, died Monday, August 15, 2005, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo.Edna was born on September 24, 1918. Albert and Agnes Richardson Torkelson adopted her at the age of four in Vancouver, British Columbia. She grew up and attended school in Huron, SD. After graduating from Huron High School she attended Business School in Huron. Edna worked as a secretary with Standard Oil for 31 years until her retirement.She is survived by two sisters, Lillian Whitelaw, Langley, British Columbia and Grace Ferraby, Vancouver, British Columbia.She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Edward Enefer and Ernest Enefer; and five sisters, Maude Dyk, Agnes Hollingshurst, Minnie Burditt, Celine Enefer and Mabel Barber.
