Edward R. Lammers

Edward was born on July 1, 1929, in Sabin, MN, to Eddie and Gina Erickson Lammers. He grew up in the Sabin, Barnesville area and attended country school there. He was baptized on July 2, 1930. He married Leone Erickson on July 26, 1958, in Fergus Falls, MN. They made their home in Barnesville. He worked for the Midland Fertilizer Plant which later changed its name to Barnesville Farmers Elevator and Fertilizer Plant in Barnesville, MN, for 23 years. He then worked for the Barnesville Farmers Co-op Oil Company in Barnesville, MN, where he retired at the age of 70. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, auction sales, visiting with relatives and friends as well as playing with his grandson, Derin. Edward is survived by his wife, Leone; daughter, Jane; one grandson, Derin Edward; son-in-law, Donald Larson; and brother, Dean Lammers, all of Barnesville, MN; brother, Dalmer Shirley Lammers, Pelican Rapids, MN; brother-in-law, Oscar Larson, Perham, MN; three sister-in-laws, Viola Erickson, Laureen Erickson, and LaVonne Erickson all of Pelican Rapids, MN; and sister-in-law, Margaret Kellerhuis, Detroit Lakes, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, two brothers, Dallas and DeLyle Lammers, and a sister, Delores Larson.
