Eileen Antionette Reinhart was born on February 18, 1944, to Oliver and Maria Reinhart in New York Mills, MN. She graduated from NYM High School and later attended Business College. She married Duane Nichlaus Colton on January 12, 1963. In November of 1964, she had her first child, Pamela Kay. Her second child, Sandra was born in 1968, followed by Michelle in 1971 and Durene "Rena" in 1972.Eileen worked as an industrial press operator and quality control at Imperial Plastics until they moved to the farm when she began her career in the Healthcare field as an aide in Parker Prairie Nursing Home. When they moved to Sabin, MN, she became a CNA certified in both Minnesota and North Dakota and worked at numerous nursing homes. She also worked at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo for many years. Eileen loved gardening! She and her close friend, Barb would compete for the first tomato of the year and she prided herself on her roses and lilacs. Her love of gardening was only surpassed by her love for her family. She was steadfastly at her husband's side supporting him in their quest to follow their dreams. No matter what happened, those close to her knew they could count on her unwavering love and forgiveness. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she delighted in experiencing and sharing life and love with them. No matter what happened her grandchildren knew that grandma was always there to save them from a punishment or to go shopping and have a tea party.Eileen is survived by three daughters, Pam of Fargo, ND, Michelle of Moorhead, MN, Rena of Wellington, CO; three grandchildren; two sisters; one brother and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.She was preceded in death by her husband; and daughter, Sandra.
