Eileen Catherine Anderson

Eileen Catherine Anderson, 92, of Fargo, ND passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Elim Rehabilitation and Care Center in Fargo, ND.
Eileen was born on August 24, 1924 to Thomas and Agnes Lenz Wilkinson. She graduated from Barnesville High School in 1942 and married Alvin Anderson on September 18, 1945 at the Comstock Parsonage. Together, Eileen and Alvie made their home and farmed the family farm near Comstock until Alvin’s passing in 1998. Eileen moved to Eventide Assisted Living in 1999 for ten years until she moved to Elim in 2009 where she spent her remaining days.
Eileen was a lifelong member of Comstock Lutheran Church where she was very active. Eileen participated in activities such as the Chairman of the Ladies Aid Circle Group, she was involved with PTA, and a Sunday School Teacher. Eileen enjoyed Saturday night dances with her husband at the Eagles Club with their family and friends. Eileen also enjoyed family get togethers during the holidays where she especially loved to cook and prepare meals for the family.
Eileen is survived by her Daughter, Mary Larry Bommersbach; Son, Dennis Anderson; Daughter-In-Law, Kirsten Anderson; Grandchildren, Melissa Matt Amundson, and Paul Laura Anderson; Great Grandchildren, Kiya and Otis Amundson, Thomas, Will and Henry Anderson; Sister Joyce James Ferris; Sister-In-Law, Ida Bye and many loving relatives and friends.
Eileen is preceded in death by her Husband, Alvin, parents, and Son, Thomas Anderson.
Service: Friday, February 3rd, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN with a visitation two hours prior to the service.
Interment: Friday, February 3rd at Comstock Cemetery in Comstock, MN.
