Eileen P. Wirtz

Eileen P. Wirtz, 77, Moorhead, MN, died on Monday, May 22, 2017, in Essentia Health, surrounded by her loving family.
Eileen Hulbert was born on July 6, 1939, in New Rockford, ND, to Willis and Elmyra Lowe Hulbert. She grew up and attended school in New Rockford, where she graduated from High School. She then attended Interstate Business College in Fargo. Eileen and her two sisters packed up and moved to California, where she settled in Burbank. She worked for almost fifty years at the Edwards, Edwards and Ashton Law Firm there.
Eileen was a very active member of her church American Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday school, serving as education director and on the church council. She was also a member of the Sons of Norway and Parents Without Partners. She had a great love and concern for animals and the environment.
Eileen is survived by her son Derek Sheri Nelson Peterson, Wadena, MN; siblings Ihlys Tom Murray, Loomis, CA, Steve Diane Hulbert, Fargo, ND, Don Jeanie Hulbert, Lake Park, MN, and Sylvia Hulbert, Fargo, ND; four grandchildren Jamie, Kristen, Shelby and Samantha. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Leah Veits.
