Elaine A. Johnson

Elaine Agatha Olson was born on April 22, 1912 to Olaf and Hattie Olson. Elaine attended what was then known as the "Normal" school in Moorhead which is now known as MSUM. She taught school in Waubun and Hitterdal, Minnesota. On April 30, 1933 she married Lester A. Johnson. They had twin sons Keith and Kenneth.They farmed near Averill until retiring to One Riverside in 1981. Their favorite place however was their lake home on Upper Cormorant Lake. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband Lester, her son Kenneth, Grandson's Clay and Jimmy and Great Grandson's Travis and David.She is survived by her son Keith Ardis Johnson; daughter-in-law Pat Johnson; eight grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren; two sisters, Caroline Brooks, and Kathleen Stevenson, both of Seattle, WA."God Bless the Memory of "Mema"!
