Eleanor L. Clifton

Eleanor Clifton, 90, of Moorhead, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, in Moorhead Health Care Center, Moorhead, MN.Eleanor Lucille Sanders was born on December 14, 1915 to Floyd and Edna Morris Sanders in Rocky Ford, CO. She grew up and attended school in Rocky Ford, CO, graduating high school in 1934. In March 1938 she married Orrin Clifton in Castle Rock, CO, together they had three children. In 1977 she and her son George moved to Moorhead, where they have been since. Eleanor spent much of her life being a volunteer for many activities. She will be missed dearly by her family.She is survived by one son, George Clifton, Moorhead, MN; one daughter, Mary Campbell, Westminster, CO; three sisters, Mildred Webb, Tucson, AZ, Carol Don Gause, Rocky Ford, CO, Prudence Charles Gee, Rocky Ford, CO; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son John Clifton; six brothers, Edwin, James, Homer, Robert, Jerry and Carl Sanders.
