Elizabeth Ann “Betty” Mccoy

Elizabeth “Betty” Ann McCoy of Fargo (formally of Williston, ND) passed away on October 21, 2017 at Bethany on University.

Betty was born on October 8, 1931 to Gustav and Mary Hansen on the farm by Wildrose, ND. She married Franklin McCoy on June 15, 1952. During their marriage they lived in Washington, D.C., Michigan, Hawaii, North Dakota, and California.

Betty enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, sewing, and gardening.

Betty is survived by her husband, Franklin; children, Franklin McCoy, Jr., Jane (Jay) Spooner, Mark McCoy, Barbara (John) Spomer, Jim (Brenda) McCoy, Sarah (Mike) DeVries, Clark (Allison) McCoy; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Viola.

A private service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the caregivers at Bethany on University and on 42^nd for their help and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Bethany Living and/or the Upper Midwest MS Society.
