Elizabeth “Betty” Reski

Elizabeth “Betty” T. Reski, age 87, passed away December 25, 2014 at home at CHI Riverview in Fargo, ND. Betty was born June 24, 1927 in Manhattan, NY. In 1953 Betty married Ron Reski in New York City. They made their home in Moorhead.
Betty is survived by 5 sons and 4 daughters, TimothyRoxanneReski, Plymouth, MN; Kevin Joy Reski, Horace, ND; ThomasGeri Reski, Fountain Hills, AZ; Mary Don Severson, Chanhassen, MN; Sheila Reski, Moorhead; Maureen Busche, Cokato, MN; Gerard Linda Reski, Solana Beach, CA; Beth Jay Olness, Detroit Lakes, MN; and David Tress Reski, Sioux Falls, SD. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, sister Kay Engelhardt, brother Jimmy Sheila McKay, and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald.
For over 40 years she was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church in Moorhead. In addition to raising nine children, Betty and Ron welcomed many foster children into their home over the years. Known for her abundant love, generosity, sense of humor, strength, and kindness, she will be loved forever and greatly missed by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to CCRI.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 10:30 A.M. on Monday, December 29, 2014 at Riverview Place in Fargo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. at Riverview Place, Fargo.
Burial: St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead
