Elizabeth E. Okerlund

Elizabeth E. Okerlund, 86, died Wednesday, February 15, 2006, at Meritcare, Fargo, ND. She was born November 4, 1919 in Banks, ND, daughter of Jerry and Mary Jarbo. She was raised on a farm outside Oslo, ND and was the youngest of their 4 daughters. Elizabeth moved to Grand Forks, ND in the late 30's. She met her husband Tony there as they worked together at St. Michaels Hospital. They married on January 10, 1942 in Mt. Shasta, CA. after the war they moved back to Grand Forks. In the late 40's they moved to Waskish, and later to Kelleher. In September of 1994 they settled in Little Falls, MN. They lived there until recently moving to Moorhead.Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Tony; daughter, Elaine Gene Borud; sons, Eugene Nancy, and Robert; and foster son Joseph Shogren; grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Ryan Kelly, Travis, and Troy.She was preceded in death by her Parents, Jerry and Mary; grandson, Jeffrey Wayne Borud; and sisters, Harriet Klinkner, and Angeline Boileau Amiot.
