Eloise M. ’Lois’ Rieker

Eloise "Lois" Margaret Rieker, 74, of Lake Park, MN, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, of cancer. Eloise was born July 24, 1937, to Henry and Margaret Croker Hamann of Lenby, MN. On March 29, 1959, Eloise was united in marriage to Clarence Gunderson of Fosston, MN. They lived in East Grand Forks, MN. They had three sons. In 1990, Eloise moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. On September 7, 1991, Eloise was united in marriage to Louis Rieker. In October of 1998, Eloise moved to Lisbon, Maine so she could be close to her son, Miles. In 2007, Eloise moved back to Minnesota so she could be close to all of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Margaret Hamann, her husbands, Clarence Gunderson and Louis Rieker, her grandparents and all of her aunts and uncles. Eloise is survived by her three sons, Carl Carol Finneseth Gunderson of Lake Park, MN, Clifford Janice Gunderson of Athnes, AL, and Miles Pauline Gunderson of Minot, ME; one brother, Clifford Gloria Hamann of Badger, MN; twenty-five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
