Elroy F. ’Bob’ Kiefert

Elroy F. "Bob" Kiefert, 83, Fargo, ND, died on Sunday, September 23, 2012, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND. Bob was born on July 19, 1929, in Lisbon, ND, to Ezra and Anna Wall Kiefert. He grew up in the Lisbon area. He married Clara Gallagher on September 23, 1955, in the Plymouth Congregational Church, Fargo, ND. They made their home in Fargo,where he worked as a Realtor his entire life. Over the years he worked for Sweeney, Johnson and Dwyer-Kiefert realty offices. He started Kiefert Realty in 1965 which he owned for 30 years. He worked with Amerland Realtors since 1995. Throughout his career, he received many awards and held several offices. He was a committed member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and he loved hunting, fishing and gardening.Bob is survived by his wife, Clara, Fargo, ND; daughter, Kim John Hanson, Fargo, ND; two granddaughters, Tiffany Hanson and Trish Floyd; one great-grandchild, Alex Hanson.Bob is survived by his wife, Clara, Fargo, ND; daughter, Kim John Hanson, Fargo, ND; two granddaughters, Tiffany Hanson and Trish Floyd; one great-grandchild, Alex Hanson.
