Emery M. Gullard

Emery M. Gullard, 86, of Lake Park, Minnesota, died Friday, October 7, 2005, at his home under hospice care. Emery was born April 10, 1919 at Flom, Minnesota to Otto and Minnie Lee Gullard. He moved to Moorhead, Minnesota at the age of four. At the age of seven his father died. Emery lived in Hickson, ND and Cass Lake, MN. He was married to Marion Jacobson on October 19, 1938 in Fargo, North Dakota. They resided in Moorhead, MN until 1951 when they moved to a farm north of Lake Park. Emery farmed and also operated Gullard Roofing Company and Salvage business. Marion died April 27, 1998. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers, three sisters, two sons, one daughter, one grandson and one great granddaughter.He is survived by seven sons, Duane Linda Gullard, West Charleston, Vermont, Gary Betty Gullard, Olivia, MN, David Sharon Gullard, Cormorant, MN, James, Gullard, St. Cloud, MN, Michael Laura Gullard, Mulberry, Tennesee, Robert Betty Jo Gullard, Lake Park, MN, and Lyle Gullard, Hitterdal, MN; three daughters, Barbara Norman Branden, Audubon, MN, Nancy Bob Villiard, Hawley, MN, and Bonnie Calvin Korth, Frazee, MN; thirty-seven grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter.
