Emilio Zane Salinas

Emilio Zane Salinas was born March 30, 2020 at 11:16 P.M. at the University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.  He weighed 6 lbs. and 11 oz. and was welcomed into the loving arms of his parents, Savanna Hetler and Anthony Salinas.  Emilio was born with Congenital Heart Disease and spent his life in the CVICU after enduring a 14- hour open heart surgery at only 9 days old. He suffered complications after surgery and while he was a very strong and brave heart warrior who fought as hard as he could, he passed away on April 26^th at 27 days old.  Sweet, handsome and so very cherished, he will be loved and missed forever by his parents, Savanna Hetler and Anthony Salinas; his siblings, Nevaeh, Jayden, Bryson, Dominic, Jeremiah and Amelia; his grandparents, Ruben and Celestina Salinas and Steve and Laurie Engelking;  his uncle, Ruben (Heather Johnson) Salinas III; his aunt, Stephanie (Billy) Lancaster, and lots of cousins.  He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Judy Sabir, Elvira Sanchez, and Lloyd and Helen Bruley and his cousin, Maycee Lancaster.

A private memorial service will be held Monday, May 4, 2020, at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead.
